The 2007 edition of Eurodance
features 41 Countries. Different styles and genres are
represented in this edition: from dance-pop music, to ethnic and
turbofolk rhythms to the more actual electro-dance sounds.
Among big names taking part to
this year's Eurodanceweb chart, we must remember the Danish group
Infernal, who topped the charts all over the world with "From
Paris to Berlin", "From A to the B" and many other hits! They
represent their Country at Eurodance with "I Won't Be Crying".
Other famous artists competing
this year are the Dutch singer Liz Kay, who has topped the
charts in several European Countries with her debut single "When
Love Becomes A Lie", produced by Zooland Records (the same
record company of the popular german dance act Cascada) and the
UK contestants Ultrabeat (whose most popular singles are "Pretty
Green Eyes" released in 2003, "Feelin'Fine" and summer 2006 hit
"Elysium") and Darren Styles. Eurodance lovers may also
remember the Swedish singer Therese as the lead vocalist of
Drömhus, who in the last Nineties released many succesful hits
such as "Vill Ha Dig" and "Stjärna På Himmelen". Another
familiar name is Double You, who in 1992 sang the cover of "Please
Don't Go" that became an ever-green in the Eurodance scene. He
represents Italy this year with Dj Ross and his brand new single
entitled "To The Beat". The 2007 Eurodanceweb chart features
also some come-backs. The winners of the very first edition of
our song contest, the Croatian dance band Colonia, have been
chosen to represent their Country for the second time with the
song "Do Kraja". After a 4 year-break Iceland takes part again
to the Eurodanceweb chart with the song "Vil Annan Dag I Paradis" performed
by Bjarthar Thordarson. After its debut in the 2005
edition, Cyprus partecipates for the second time with Despoina Olympious
and the remix of her latest big hit "Pes To Dunata".
